Penny Malandi

Director, Service Coordination (Division I)

Ms. Malandi holds a MA Liberal Arts degree. She has 30 years’ experience in the field working with persons with disabilities as a case manager at Kennedy Institute, a residential program in the District of Columbia. Committed to providing high quality supports to people with intellectual and developmental disability, she started her career as an assistant program director at Frontline, and was promoted to being the head of program services.

Has sponsored 5 children in India through Uplift A Child, a non-profit, for the past 5 years. She supervises three program managers, and 7 program coordinators, and over 125 direct support staff. Her tasks include coordinating the admissions committee, new referrals, transitions of people coming in to Frontline, and ensuring that systems in place yield the right results, or work with the QM department to improve them.
