We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) with strong writing and communication skills to join our team at Frontline Community Services. Working at Frontline provides a fantastic opportunity for professional growth while making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities!

Minimum Requirements to become a Direct Support Professional :

  1. High School Diploma/GED.
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Valid Driver’s License.
  4. Valid Work Authorization paperwork.

Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional :

  1. Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care.
  2. Utilize Person-Centered Plans to assess an individual's needs.
  3. Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
  4. Accompany individuals to and from appointments and activities.
  5. Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

  1. Manager for Nutrition Services wanted by a healthcare services organization in Beltsville, MD.
  2. Provide nutritional counseling and create treatment plans that support overall mental and physical health and wellbeing for approximately 60 individuals with developmental deficits;
  3. Educate nursing staff, direct care professional staff, and supervisors who support this challenged population, on the health effects of good and bad food choices;
  4. Develop working, person-centered menus in collaboration with the behavior specialist and nursing and program teams;
  5. Work closely with individuals who have medical issues to help find the right foods for optimum health;
  6. Oversee post-hospitalization and post-surgery diet compliance. Will report to the Clinical Director.
  7. Weekly travel to job sites within a 30-mile radius from the main office in Beltsville (about 20% of time).

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition (will accept foreign equivalent degree) plus at least two and a half years of experience providing nutrition and dietetics expertise in clinical settings and at least six months in a corporate setting.
