The Freedom Club was launched by the administrators and clinicians at Frontline to provide persons served with a forum to engage in recreational activities in a nurturing and supportive environment that celebrates diversity and individuality as strengths.
The Freedom Club is a collaborative effort involving Frontline’s persons served and their staff to participate in the healing arts, yoga, expressive dancing, instrumental and vocal music, healthy cooking, nutritional awareness, computer literacy, cultural and environmental awareness, arts and crafts, pen friendships, book clubs, peer groups and self-advocacy groups.
Using creative means and activities, the Freedom Club aims at cultivating the self-esteem of persons served and of inspiring them to boldly embrace their journey towards self-discovery and independence.
